JACK RUSSELL TERRIER LITTERS: THE MOMENT OF DELIVERY
Now it's your turn: you must introduce the puppy to as many people as possible with different appearances — tall, short, with different clothes, beards, without beards, runners, cyclists, etc. You should also get them used to seeing cars, buses, trains… and to all kinds of sounds, strange noises, and different environments.
The puppy should meet other dogs of various ages and interact with other animals such as cats. You will need to carry out this socialization process during the first two months after bringing the puppy home — it’s worth the effort if you want to avoid spending the next fourteen years with a fearful, shy, or problematic dog. If you do it right, you’ll have a balanced, friendly, outgoing, and affectionate companion. If you need help of any kind,
don't hesitate to ask us!
Each Puppy Includes:
Vaccinations
Dewormings
Health Card
Microchip
Pedigree of both parents with DNA tests
Genetic disease testing for the parents
Congenital disease guarantee
Ongoing support
RECOMMENDATIONS
PUPPY FEEDING
The puppy has been weaned with Royal Canin Starter, and after this stage, we feed them with Royal Canin Puppy. You can switch to another food with no issue, as long as it’s high-quality, at least for the first year while the puppy is still growing. Preferably, make the switch gradually.

JACK RUSSELL TERRIER COAT TYPES
Smooth: Short and sleek
Broken: Intermediate coat, may resemble smooth but is slightly longer, usually with beard, eyebrows, and whiskers
Rough: Long and harsh, typical of wire-haired Jacks — thick and coarse, not woolly or soft
For smooth-coated dogs, regular brushing is enough. Broken and rough-coated dogs require hand stripping to maintain coat quality. Clipping is not recommended, as it damages the coat’s texture. (For more detailed info, visit the “Official Standard” tab, under the “Coat and Color” section.)
EDUCATION
Focus all your efforts on PUPPY SOCIALIZATION if you want to have a well-adjusted adult dog without behavioral problems. TIME IS LIMITED — the first months are crucial. If the puppy is not socialized during this period, you may end up with a fearful or aggressive dog, and this will be difficult or impossible to fix once the socialization window closes. Start training your puppy from the very beginning using positive reinforcement techniques
Never use violence — but be firm.
Be consistent. Don’t allow behaviors you won’t tolerate later. If you don’t want your dog on the sofa or bed, don’t allow it as a puppy. If you don’t want begging at the table, never feed them from your plate.
Reward your puppy frequently for good behavior or even randomly, but be careful not to reinforce unwanted behavior. One of the most important aspects of early training is teaching SOFT MOUTHING and BITE INHIBITION, which will prevent future accidents.
Read everything you can about canine education. Watch videos on positive dog training. If possible, attend puppy classes.
